Level 2 Plumbing Apprentice – Bridport

Job Description

Our Client, is seeking a Plumbing Apprentice to join their team in Bridport. You will be trained on the job and will be working towards an NVQ Level 2 and becoming a fully qualified Plumber.

The role will include:

• Assisting engineers with day to day duties
• Keeping van clean and tidy
• Complying with Health and Safety procedures
• Ensuring tools and equipment are prepared for the job
• Communicating with customers
• Working on domestic properties
• Working on building sites
• Working at height
• Diagnose and fix faults

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5 GCSE’s A to C or equivalent qualification
• Good practical skills and be able to communicate effectively with others
• Be aware of Health and Safety in the workplace
• Have good communication and listening skills
• A positive attitude and be keen with an eagerness to learn
• A good work ethic is essential
• Able to work as part of a team
• Attention to detail
• Good practical skills

The candidate must be able to travel to site for early morning starts, working a 40-hour week Monday – Friday.
